I have been a big Beach House fan since their lo-fi self-titled release in ‘06. Lush, expansive, with an excellent since of melody, they haven’t disappointed me yet. The iTunes Session EP affords us an interesting opportunity to hear how a 2-person band chooses to play their material live—adding a drummer adds a nice realism to their dreamy compositions. Among the material from their last three records is a brand new track, White Moon. Another highlight from the EP is a Teen Dream fave, Silver Soul. For $4.99, it is definitely worth it.
